A Bit About Me
Hello,
My name is Dustin Holland. I am a Bachelor of Business Administration student at Camosun College, majoring in HR Management & Leadership. In addition to HR Management & Leadership, I am also completing a degree in Digital Communications. So not only will I be able to effectively lead a team of people, but also digitally communicate with them too.
Furthermore, in 2019 I attended the Blanche Macdonald Fashion Institute and graduated with a degree in Global Marketing. Topics of study include Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, among other things.

In this position I get to use my management and leadership abilities to inspire a team in spreading the word of natural wellness, while ensuring critical KPI goals are being met and exceeded in store. In this position there is lots of freedom to create store specific marketing strategies, promotions, and events. This allows me to use the skills I learn in school and apply them to the business as I see fit. I regularly create excel files to improve efficiency, marketing materials (such as posters, brochures, and signage) to promote target products, and organize events to create brand overall awareness.
At Designer Brands Inc. (DSW, Shoe Warehouse, Shoe Company) I held various different positions and various different locations. I had the amazing opportunity to transfer stores around all of BC to spread my management and leadership skills. The final position I head with the company was as Store Manager.
During my time at Best Buy I held the position as full time Multichannel Sales Associate (web department), Customer Service Representative, and Store Hiring Manager. Typical responsibilities include:
